Ash Bowl with Flower Detail

Description

This piece of wood came from the village I live in. A number of trees have been felled due to Ash Die-Back, a disease that is damaging many trees in our region of the South Downs. This unique bowl is finished with black enamel detailing with a flower designs burnt into the bowl. Finished with Tung oil and natural beeswax.

This flower design is an element from the flower of life. A sacred geometric pattern which is part of our art history. Sacred geometry is a foundation for man to understand the truth in nature.
