Ash Bowl

Description

This piece of wood came from Buriton, the village I live in. A number of trees have been felled due to Ash Die-Back, a disease that is damaging many trees in our region of the South Downs.

This unique bowl beautifully shows the contrast of the heart and sapwood, black enamel detailing to the outer top, then finished with Tung oil and natural beeswax.
